Aptly named and based on Chitra Narayanan's years of observation, this book is about the tumultuous history and evolution of the Indian hotel industry, capturing the enormous shifts and changes brought in by technology. Amongst the several options explored, the eventual decision by the design team, editor and author was to go ahead with this vector illustration that we created - a typical three storey building customised into an Oyo hotel. The title placed in perspective helped immensely to stand out amongst others on shop shelves.
