A set of pencil boxes and smaller trinket boxes based on three different themes linked to the situation in Kashmir. These themes were influenced firstly through conversations with the artisans and families participating in the Commitment to Kashmir design workshops. Secondly, as experienced firsthand by the designer in a distributed time period of two months spent in Srinagar and its city suburbs.
Designed and made in Srinagar, India with Papier Mache Naqqashi artisans - Wani Brothers as part of the Commitment to Kashmir 'Kashmiriyat' project. This project has also been published in Garland Magazine.
